CATA Welcomes Mr. Adedeji as New CATA President

Mr. Zacch Adedeji has been appointed as the new Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service of Nigeria. He takes over from Mr Mohammed Nami whose tenure of service has come to an end. Mr Nami leaves the FIRS having successfully led the far-reaching digital transformation of the Revenue service as well as other initiatives that saw significant revenue growth and improvements in taxpayer services. Mr Nami also served as the President of CATA having been elected in 2019 and has used his soft diplomatic credentials to ensure that the organization remains vibrant and fit for its purpose.

On behalf of the Management Committee and the entire members of CATA, we convey our appreciation to Mr Nami for the illustrious service to CATA and wish him all the best in his next path in the career.

Mr Adedeji brings on board a rich background and experience in accounting, finance and revenue administration that will no doubt be of great value not only to FIRS but to the CATA fraternity as a whole. We welcome Mr Adedeji and congratulate him on his appointment to this high public office.
