28th Annual Technical Conference, Nairobi, Kenya
 CATA's 28th annual technical conference was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi from 5 to 10 August 2007. It was attended by 132 delegates including 112 delegates from 29 member countries and 12 special guests representing non-member countries China, Japan, Morocco, Rwanda, Sweden, Thailand and the United States. Eight delegates from international organisations including IMF, DFID, GTZ, EU and SADC also attended as special guests.
The conference, inaugurated by the Honourable Minister for Finance, Mr. Amos Kimunya, was an outstanding success, both in terms of the technical content and the excellent organisational arrangements made and hospitality extended by the Kenya Revenue Authority. CATA Secretariat places on record its deepest appreciation and gratitude to the Government of Kenya, the Kenya Revenue Authority and each and every official of KRA who was involved in the conference organisation.
