CATA's 4th Annual Technical Conference was held in Mauritius between 21 and 25 October 2024 

CATA’s 42nd Annual Technical Conference

The 42nd CATA Technical Conference was held in Abuja, Nigeria between 28 November and 1 December 2022.

CATA’s 41st Annual Technical Conference

The 41st Annual Technical Conference (deferred from 2020 because of the Coronavirus Pandemic) was hosted virtually with the 15th General Meeting, from 9th to 11th November 2021.

The theme and topics for the 41st CATA Technical Conference were:

CATA’s 40th Annual Technical Conference

Malaysia hosted the 2019 Technical Conference in Penang, from 11 to 14 November.

CATA's 39th Annual Technical Conference

This Conference took place in Nadi, Fiji, between 12 and 16 November 2018. The theme was “Building sustainability and resilience in tax administration”. The conference marked CATA’s 40th anniversary.

CATA's 38th Annual Technical Conference

This Conference took place in Accra, Ghana, between 6 and 10 November 2017. The Conference was hosted at the Movenpick Hotel and considered the theme "Leveraging Technology to enhance Revenue Administration".

CATA's 37th Annual Technical Conference

The Barbados Revenue Authority hosted this Conference, from 7 to 11 November 2016. The theme was “ Enhancing Tax Compliance Through Strategic Alliances”.

CATA's 36th Annual Technical Conference

The 2015 (36th) Conference and 13th General Meeting were held in Malacca, Malaysia, between 15 and 20 November 2015. The topics for discussion were "Abuse of Treaties in Base Erosion and Profit Shifting" (BEPS) and "Governance and Integrity in Tax Administration".

CATA's 35th Annual Technical Conference

The 2014 Conference was hosted by the Botswana Unified Revenue Service, between 10 and 14 November 2014. The venue was the Gaborone International Convention Centre. The two topics for discussion were "Harnessing Tax Revenue Potential of the Extractive Sector", and "Transparency and Exchange of Information in Large Businesses”.
