The BRA expanded its taxpayer support efforts during the 2026 Personal Income Tax filing season through a combination of in-person assistance, digital resources and extended customer service operations.

Throughout April, the Authority hosted a series of Tax Clinics across Barbados, helping taxpayers complete their Personal Income Tax returns and meet their filing obligations. Demand for assistance remained high, particularly as the deadline approached. At the Queen’s Park Tax Clinic alone, nearly 1,000 individuals were assisted over the final two days of the filing period.

To meet the increased demand, employees from across the Authority volunteered to support the clinics, while customer service and contact centre teams worked extended hours assisting taxpayers with filing queries and password resets.

The BRA also enhanced its digital support by producing step-by-step instructional videos and sharing targeted tax tips through its online platforms, enabling many taxpayers to complete their returns independently.

The annual Tax Clinics have become a key feature of Barbados’ tax calendar, demonstrating the Authority’s commitment to taxpayer education, voluntary compliance and customer service. The 2026 filing season highlighted the value of combining digital tools with personalised assistance to meet the diverse needs of taxpayers and support a positive compliance culture.
